I used to think that buying organic somehow made me an extremest.....as if making sure my food wasn't full of chemicals and pesticides makes anyone an extremist! Now, I'm not saying that there is no possible way to eat healthy without organic food, but I am saying that although I was skeptical that organic food was for me, I have notice a difference in how I feel. If you are as skeptical as I was, and you want to test out whether you actually feel better, you may want to order a box of fruit and veggies from a CSA local organic farm, and see how much better you feel. Keep in mind...some fruits and veggies carry higher pesticide residues, called the dirty dozen. You may want to spend your money on these when you buy organic.
